Why You’re Wrong

I started the Facebook page Why You’re Wrong as a labor of love, a way of testing whether I could explain grammatical and other writing concerns within a constrained format. I drew examples from published (or at least public) writing in American English. The idea was that it would both showcase ways in which an editor can be helpful and offer a little entertainment. Recent changes to Facebook have made it difficult for me to post and comment in the original format, so for the moment the page is dormant.
